After HOURS spent doing NADA this weekend (surfing the web, checking Instagram (how many likes are we on?? Snapchatting... Seriously, EVERYONE is out hiking today...This SUCKS! Facebook ads...OH cheap ass Quest Bars!!!) ordering stuff from eBay I really dont need (trainers.. Oh my boyfriend is gonna KILL me. I have about 70..And use...Three maybe?)
I needed something to do ASAP. Something productive. Something fun. Something to blog about...I have always been so interested in those food bloggers who have time to make the SICKEST breakfast (acai bowls from heaven on a marble table. Seriously, where was this wholesale on these Instagram-friendly marble tables from Bolia, or has everyone lately gotten a pay raise??) lunch in a jar, snacks straight from a catering company and dinners ready to be served at The kings table and what not. And only spending like 60 seconds. And BAM. Best dish EVER if you were to judge by the look of their Instagram-photo. DARNIT. I wanna do that as well! Something to kill the flu maybe... thats tasty.. Let me see..... hmmmmmhUMMUS!!!!!
So, you ready to screenshot or write this down?
Hummus a la Stine:
- About 400 g of boiled chick peas.
- 1/2-1 juice of a lemon
- 3 cloves of chopped garlic ( Or more if you wanna kill that cold! Dont be shy, I used five! )
- 1/2-1 dl olive oil
- At least 2 ss of tahini ( The more, The merrier!)
- Some lemon pepper
If you don`t have a food processor use a potato masher like mine to mash the chick peas!
Add the spices, tahini, the lemon juice, garlic and the olive oil.
Voila! A good hummus for ya! And the best thing? This delicious Middle Eastern dip is healthy for you as well!
And it doesnt take that long to make either! I even found a good song to listen to while making it.
